There will be a public meeting concerning the Jakes Rocks Trails Project Tuesday the 3rd of May at 6:30 at the Warren Public Library. Members of the International Mountain Bicycling Association’s Trail Solutions will be present to answer questions and discuss their progress.
It is vital that we have a strong public showing of support at this meeting. Please make time to attend. This is the time to show support for growth of cycling related tourism in our area.
Ride from Allegheny Cyclery 6 pm Wed., the singletrack is saturated so we will be scouting out the first (and last) part of the Ride of Death!!!, heading to Zimmerman Hill, Morrison, and probably down Mohawk or possibly some old ATV trail that used to come down that hillside onto Pleasant Drive.
Looks to be in the upper 60′s so a few thunderstorms shouldn’t be too bad to ride in.

Haven’t ridden any yet this year because you don’t bike in the cold? A flat easy non-technical ride is starting from the lot next to the dam at Chapman State Park at 2 pm Sunday 4/10, possibly followed by a hilly/harder ride if anyone is not interested in just a nice easy ride around the park. Hope to see you there.
Moderate pace, end of Coal Bed Scandia, 5:45 pm, bring lights.
In consideration of our Sugargrove contingent The April meeting will be held at The Bucket Cafe in Sugargrove. See you on April 17th at 6:00 PM.
There are a couple of us going to Raystown Lake this coming Sunday, leaving Warren 7 am for a day of riding.
Current forecast for Huntingdon PA is lower 50′s and sunshine, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out this trip is just the ticket for fixin cabin fever with a dose of vitamin D, fresh air, and good company.
